The conference is aimed at building bridges across disciplinary, professional, and geographical divides, and, most importantly, contributing, through its findings, to the peace, development and progress of the globe as a whole. This is reflective of the General Studies philosophy: to provide an intellectual meeting point for all disciplines, expand the intellectual horizon of students and therefore provide broad-based, people-oriented and self-reliant education.

High-quality, original and empirical research or opinion papers are, therefore, invited from eminent national and international scholars and professionals. Authors are encouraged to send their abstracts or full-length papers on any of the mentioned disciplines or topics. Any abstract received will be published in the Book of Abstracts. Quality papers will be considered for publication in our academic journal.

Deadline for Submission of Abstract: 15th February 2016

Accommodation: The list of hotels in Enugu and their prices will be provided for interested participants.

Post-conference tours: Interested participants will be taken to important tourist centers in and around Enugu.

Details for Manuscript Submission: The abstract must not exceed 200 words. Key words (not more than 5) used in the paper must be highlighted. Authors are encouraged to describe findings in terms intelligible to the non-professional readers.

The title page should contain: the title of the article, name of author(s), and affiliations. Authors should include functional e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

The main paper should not be more than 14 pages including abstracts and references. All articles should be typed on double line spacing and on one side of A4 paper. It shall be on 12 font size, Times New Roman. The latest APA referencing style should be used. Each participant should come with a soft copy, and a power point version of the work for presentation, including at least 10 hard copies.
